Neither lay bet qualified yesterday as prices were too high, so it was a no bet day for me. Life System made a profit again though, so I am hoping Saturday was just a blip as it had made a profit on nearly every other day so far. Today we have 3 potential lay bets, as usual only lay at SP of 2.5 or less….

Fairly happy after bagging a winner in the first yesterday. In my systems testing, The Life System came back from a poor Saturday to make a profit yesterday. The greyhound system Psycho Lays Dogs is still switched off at the moment, I will report back as soon as I receive the first selections when it resumes.

Today we have two potential lay bets which may not qualify on price. If either are backed down to 2.5 or less I will lay them, if not no bets today.

Ever had one of those days when you wish you hadn’t bothered? We had just one qualifying bet yesterday which was a loser. Furthermore my test of the Life System took a bit of a hit as well, losing 11% of the original bank. It remains around 16% up overall though, but still it was a poor day for me. These happen sometimes and it’s all about how you deal with them. I’ll dust myself down, find a cat to kick* and get on with it.
*not literally of course cat lovers

I should add for those of you who are interested in the test of the Life System that I made a profit of 1.2% yesterday. Given recent successes this was almost a disappointment! I think I should lower my expectations because I’m not going to be making 16% every day, but the test bank continues to increase nicely. A couple more potential lay bets today. It was a good day for us yesterday as both our lays got beaten. There was a big drift on Brett Vale right before the off with the Betfair price moving out from around 1.75 to 2.2, so if you’re liability staking like me the profit you made will have depended on what odds you got.

It was also a fantastic day for my test of the Life System, I was amazed to return to my desk at around 9.30pm to find that the bot had finished with a profit of 16% in just one day! The best day yet since I started testing, and the bank is now up over 28% since the weekend. Surely this can’t continue – can it? If it does this one is going to be added to my portfolio and I’ll be owing those of you who suggested it to me a couple of beers.
