The pink and white racing silks of Wayne and Colleen Rooney will make their first appearances at the footballer and WAG haunt of Chester this week, when Pippy and Tomway make their racecourse debuts.
Pippy looks a fancied filly in the opening race at Chester, and William Hill quote her at 6-1 to win her respective race, along with Manchester United to win the League.
Trained by Tom Dascombe, Hills quote any Rooney-owned horse at 33-1 to win at Royal Ascot 2012, following the success of Michael Owen’s Brown Panther, also trained by Dascombe, last year.
William Hill spokeswoman Lucy Rhodes said “United may look outsiders for the title, but Pippy is fancied to make a winning debut for the pink and white strip of the Rooneys“
Pippy to win the Chester 1.35 on Wednesday & Man Utd to win the Premier League: 6-1*
Any Rooney-owned horse to win at Royal Ascot 2012: 33-1
*Subject to no more non-runners – three at present
