Bet Bot Pro

A number of members have contacted me over the last few weeks with ideas they have had for betting systems, asking for my opinions on whether they were viable. It just so happened that I was in the middle of reviewing a piece of software that will show you exactly how profitable your ideas are before you actually risk a penny.

Bet Bot Pro is an automated betting tool that connects to Betfair via the API interface. It will then place bets for you in either the horse racing or greyhound markets according to the criteria you give it.

There are a host of options available – probably too many to list here – but here are the main features…

• Place Back OR Lay bets on UK/US/AUS/RSA Horses & UK/AUS Greyhounds
• Automate selections based on market position, or choose individual and multiple selections
• Determine your min & max odds acceptable
• Place bets at a specific time before the race starts
• Number of runners filter (e.g. only bet if there are less than X runners, or more than Y runners etc)
• Multiple staking plan options. You can stake a fixed amount, or a percent of your bank. You can elect to try and recover a percentage of any lost bet over a fixed number of betting cycles.
• Bet below the Betfair minimum bet. If you want to test a strategy with real money you can get the bot to use very small amounts, even below the minimum bet of £2.
• Simulation mode – test your strategies without using real money. This is the best feature of all in my opinion. Once you have a strategy idea, leave the software to test it out for you in real market conditions but without using real money.
• Max loss, Max profit limits. Get the software to stop when you reach a profit target for the day, or when you reach a maximum acceptable loss. This allows you to protect your betting bank!
• Export results to csv/Excel. Whether you’re betting for real or testing, you can export your results and check back through them at a later date. This allows you to test your strategies over a period of time to ensure that they are consistently profitable.

This is just a selection of the features available – there is even more to the software than that but these are the features I found most useful.

I have been testing the software since August 2008 and have been extremely impressed with its reliability, ease of use and quality of customer support.

No doubt you have a few of your own ideas as well. If not, think back to all the betting systems you have ever bought. I expect there were some stinkers in there. Ever bought or seen a backing system that hardly ever produced a winner? Why not lay all the selections instead! Ever bought a laying system that produced too many winners? Would it work as a backing system?

Bet Bot Pro will let you find out. Just load it up and press go and it will do all the work for you, then return home later to find out how you got on.

As you can tell I am very impressed with this software. I know that there are other automated tools on the market, but  do feel that this package is hard to beat in terms of features and ease of use.

The price is another plus point. Unlike other tools which require you to pay a monthly subscription, with Bet Bot you only pay a one off fee and then that’s it – the software is yours and you don’t have to pay a monthly fee. You get six months worth of updates free as well.

Overall, a definite thumbs up – and it’s not often I give those.
