Frankel will face the smallest field in his career so far when he lines up in the Sussex Stakes on Wednesday, and is 1-20 with William Hill to extend his unbeaten record to 12.
Sir Henry Cecil‘s star colt has been odds-on at every start since he made his debut, however this is set to be his shortest starting price to date, and he tops the betting ahead of Godolphin‘s supplemented entry Farhh at 8-1.
The Koukash-owned Gabrial is quoted at 50-1 with the trailblazing fellow Cecil contender Bullet Train completing the quartet at 150-1.
William Hill spokeswoman Lucy Rhodes said “We all know nothing can match Frankel over a mile, and, after what looks set to be another Sussex Stakes romp, the racing world will be eagerly anticipating the new challenge of a step up in distance“
