PREVIEW
Last season’s Manchester derby at Old Trafford was arguably one of the best games of the year and perhaps the greatest ever between the two huge rivals. Sir Alex Ferguson will be looking for a much improved performance from the one at Molineux last weekend.

When these sides met at Eastlands before Christmas it finished goalless with Man City setting up to play for a point. United will expect more of the same tomorrow as Roberto Mancini’s main objective this year is a Champions League spot.

Rio Ferdinand is set to miss out again following the injury he picked up before the Wolves game, which means new man Chris Smalling will partner Nemanja Vidic.

Carlos Tevez continued his fine form this year as he bagged a hat-trick at West Brom last time out. The Argentine forward will be relishing the chance to face his former side and take advantage of Ferdinand’s absence.

Man City have held their own against the better sides in the league, but have really struggled for goals in those matches. In City’s last five games against sides in the current top five places, they have only scored one goal. Further support for a low scoring game is that in the Red Devils’ four games against the top five this season there have been just three goals.

All the signs are pointing towards another tight game and my advice to punters would be to back the draw at around 3.85. I would also suggest backing under 2.5 goals at around 1.87 on the ‘Daq’.

RECOMMENDATION: (1-10 points)
Back the draw at 3.85: 6 points
Back under 2.5 goals at around 1.87: 4 points

PREVIEW
After tonight’s mouth-watering clash between Arsenal and Manchester City we should have a far clearer idea of which club has the better title credentials. The Gunners were terrific when these sides met at Eastlands as they ran in three goals – albeit after City were reduced to ten men.

Punters looking to back Arsene Wenger’s side at around 1.86 may be aware that City have not won at Arsenal since 1975, losing 20 of the 27 clashes in North London. City will also have to make do without the attacking threat of Mario Balotelli and David Silva.

Three defeats in their nine home league games is not the form needed to win titles, but the Gunners are still in the hunt. Samir Nasri has continued his superb form and Cesc Fabregas is still improving after his injury setbacks.

Man City have once again been busy in the transfer window and have signed Bosnian striker Edin Dzeko – who boasts of a prolific scoring record in the Bundesliga. Those backing City at 4.8 on the ‘Daq’ will be disappointed to hear of more in-house fighting on the training pitches.

Roberto Mancini has built a reputation of packing the midfield and defending with numbers, so Arsenal may find it tough to break through at first. Eventually class will show and I expect City’s drought at Arsenal to continue.

RECOMMENDATION:
(1-10 points)
Back Arsenal at around 1.86: 5 points
